Roofing questions
How much does a new roof cost in Los Angeles?
It depends on roof size and pitch, the material, how many old layers need to come off, and whether any decking has to be replaced. We inspect the roof and give you a free written estimate with each of these items listed, so you can compare bids line by line.
Do I need a permit to replace my roof?
Yes. Reroofing in the City of Los Angeles and surrounding cities requires a building permit and a final inspection. We pull the permit and schedule the inspections as part of the job.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family roof replacements take one to three working days once the permit is issued and materials are delivered. Larger roofs, tile roofs and decking repairs can add time; your estimate includes an expected schedule.
Does my new roof have to be a cool roof?
In much of the San Fernando Valley and inland Los Angeles, California's Title 24 energy code requires cool-rated roofing on most reroofs. We specify products that meet the requirement for your address.
Can you help with an insurance claim for roof damage?
Yes. We document the damage, prepare a detailed scope and work with your insurance adjuster on storm, fire and water damage claims.
